Octo is working with Padel FC Liverpool to deliver the city's first purpose-built padel destination at Wavertree Sports Park, transforming a cluster of disused outdoor tennis courts into a nine-court facility paired with a social clubhouse designed around a play-and-stay ethos. The scheme brings together six indoor courts and three covered outdoor courts beneath a Kalzip standing seam roof, with a central hub housing café, retail, changing, and a showcase court that opens directly onto the social spaces beyond. Drawing on the site's woodland setting and Liverpool's industrial heritage, the design is both grounded in its context and built for year-round community use, with inclusive access, local employment, and youth engagement woven into the brief from the outset.
