My Role: Houses 1 and 2: redesigned the original concepts to stay within Green Belt volume limits. House 3: RIBA Stages 0–3, producing every drawing from first concept to planning, including the illustrations. All three houses: plans, elevations, diagrams and the updated planning drawings. Using AutoCAD and SketchUp.
The Challenge: A large country estate near Chester, in the Green Belt (protected countryside where new building is strictly limited). The owners wanted to add new homes without spoiling the open landscape.
The Concept: Three new homes, each made from something already on the site, built in three phases.
The Result: Building in phases lets each home go to planning on its own. House 1 is now in planning.
